Officials Encourage Early Application to Avoid Last-Minute Rush
The WBPSC has advised applicants to avoid the typical last-day congestion on portals. Help centers are being set up in districts like Murshidabad, Nadia, and Jalpaiguri to assist rural applicants.
In a press briefing, Commission Secretary Dr. Tapan Saha stated, “We are working to simplify documentation for first-time applicants, especially in Group D roles.”
Job Seekers Respond Positively Amid Growing Youth Unemployment
West Bengal’s educated youth, many affected by hiring freezes post-pandemic, welcomed the announcement. Ankita Roy, a 24-year-old B.Ed graduate from Siliguri, said, “This is the first major opening in months. I’ve already submitted my application for the assistant post.”
Several local coaching centers in Kolkata and Durgapur also reported a spike in inquiries for exam preparation materials within hours of the notification going live.
